In a surprising partnership that defies traditional forecasts, Ubisoft has revealed an digital crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, providing free additional story content for Shadows players.

According to the formal release, "An unusual encounter pulls protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a new adventure, where whispers of prohibited ceremonies and terrifying changes echo through the darkness." The narrative introduces a "oddly attired woman named Ada" who charges the characters with traveling into the Crystal Cave—a important location from Attack on Titan—to save her companion from a clandestine cult.

The questline centers on "peculiar experiments and a monstrous adversary" and is accessible to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Settings and Transformations

The preview features the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was previously where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The preview ends with a dramatic scene showing a character, presumably the captive, changing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Unique Items and Bonus Material

Players who finish the mission will receive an unique katana alongside multiple artifacts concealed throughout the area in secret chests. The update also features in-store Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
